How to handle returns...

What's the best way to handle a return? Do you leave the order as is, and denote on the order that the items were returned....then manually modify inventory?

I realize this original post was posted some time ago. However, I am also wondering the same thing.

Or how about when only a portion of the order is returned? Do you delete out he portion returns and just make notes on the order?

Any input would be helpful.
