Qty Discount Question.

If i wanted to run a special say "buy 3 of X product - get 10% Off" what settings would I need to change to make this active.

I have been playing around and cant seem to get it right!

You would want to make a promotion for this. (Marketing -> Promotion)

In the rules, specify that they must have product X (and quantity of 3)

Then, on the bottom section specify 10% as the discount.

Make sure that you remember to enable it once you are done editing (after you save it, go back to the promotions screen and there is a check box to enable it).

Anyway to do this on the product page itself and not done though a mailer promotion?

IE so when you hit the site, and go to the page of X product it says the buy 3 discount right on the page?

You could use quantity discounts...go to the product in the admin and click on the quantity discount tab.
