Out Of Stock Option?

Am i blind or is there any out of stock option for products in the admin?

Also a nice addition would be a Auto email once a product is back in stock.

IE product A is marked as "on back order " or "Out Of Stock" but there is a place to enter email for the customer. Once the product is changed to In stock it auto emails the cutomer(s).

Are you looking for Inventory Options in the admin under Setting -> General -> Store Settings.

I think there should be a default, but I have not been able to find it. Before the last release, I thought there was a default option.
