Default Content entered thru admin panel

With code like this (using footer as an example):
PHP Code:
<!--STARTCATEGORY_FOOTER-->
<
table width="95%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" border="0">
<
tr>
<
td  class="font2">[CONTENT]</td>
</
tr>
</
table>
<!--
ENDCATEGORY_FOOTER-->
1) What the best format for the Content? Do most of you use a new table, p tags or what for your content? Or does it matter?

2) Using a table, is it a problem having so many nested tables?

The content you placed can be plain text, or HTML. In general you dont want to have too many nested tables, the more nested tables the longer it takes a browser to render the page on the screen, however, the latest browsers dont seem to have much of an issue even if you have many nested tables (this wasnt the case with netsacape Versions 5 and older, gladly we dont have to worry about these anymore).

Quick question, Gonzalo
If I use plain text, which font style will it display? I know I could try it and find out myself pretty quickly, but if you don't mind.

It'll use class="font2", not sure how the font2 is set on your site but you can change it from SETTINGS > DESIGN > THEME & STYLES > MODIFY STYLE.
