Top Sellers for new site

I assume no top sellers will show up until sales have been processed. Until then is there a way to put some products there? And later on is there a way to manipulate the ones I want to have listed as top sellers?

Top sellers are actually the top sellers, not a list you can control.
You could "influence" the list by placing an order with 999 of each item you want, make yourself a 100% off coupon so you dont have to pay yourself

Is there anyway in the admin to control the amount of bestsellers displayed?

Also is this someting somewhere in the admin as 1 of my sites has it but another doesnt have it live
