Lots of spam lately!

I got an email from support closing my ticket today. I haven't received any returned/delayed emails yet today - but it's early. I'm crossing my fingers that support figured it out. I was told they made some changes to 'something' I'm assuming it was their mail server. Don't know what the problem or the change was. I'm really hoping this is finally resolved - should know today.

They updated my ticket as well. They said that they made a few tweaks to the settings and to let them know.

For what it's worth, we have only had a couple of spam emails over the last 3 or 4 days--this time last week we were getting about 50 a day! The tweaking must have done it, so we're happy!

Spoke too soon--now we're getting tons of spam again. Darn!

Spam started for me two days ago - not in the volume you're getting but about a dozen a day.

All XXX rated - really bad. I got on a list somewhere that I would REALLY like to get off of. These go to my Junk email - but what a waste of resources.

We've had over 100 since 8:00 this morning--it's only 10:30 now, so looks like some jerk is really busy! This has definitely been the worst day ever for us--it is coming from all 3 of our domain name email accounts, and I can't shut them down because legitimate customers use those same accounts to ask questions, request quotes, etc.

Wow - what a pain! Are they all from the same email or domain or are they 'faked'? Have you tried blocking the email addresses or the entire domain?

I once did a search on reporting spam and found a site you could register to for free. Once there you copied the entire header from the spam emails and then THEY reported your spam to the ISP that was actually being used to send the emails.

Not sure if it helps or not - but couldn't hurt. I used it when people were using MY email address to send tons of spam and made it look like I was sending them.

Great! Now our emails are taking up to 12 hours to go out. I didn't get notified of new orders for over 12 hours!
What have they changed!?!?!?
Oh well, another support ticket open for me!

Mark - I think this one is getting fixed - my emails are coming in quickly now. However I still have to verify that the emails I sent yesterday are delivered. Hopefully this one is resolved. I think they are working the issue.
