f that fails, then your port 25 is being blocked.
If it works, (it says hello mail.yourdomain.com), then the problem is on the email software configuration.
Mine simply says now 220 mail.infomart2000.com

cekman
well 3dcart closed my ticket today without resolving my issue.
3dcart is the only email server that I use that can't send to the network solutions domains.
They told me there was nothing they could do.
Can you tell me how your problem was fixed?

Please let me know how some of you got your emails working. Mail sent from the 3dcart server is blocked to certain domains. Thanks!

Mark - I really complained. Things got a little nasty and I felt terrible. Still nothing was done until this thread opened and others admitted to having the same problem.
I spent HOURS trying to work with the individual domains that weren't getting my emails - but they wouldn't work with me - only the email service provider, however 3DCart said I had to resolve. This went round and round and round.
However - after enough people said they had the same issue, which proved my point that it wasn't on my end - then they made some changes and the problem was solved.
It took weeks and was not handled the way I would have liked (and I'm sure they felt the same about me) - however it was eventually fixed with persistence.
Maybe open a new thread with the particular issue you're having and see if anyone else has the same issue - this would help.
I'm hoping 3DCart will realize how important being able to communicate with our customers is and will be more willing to work through these issues.
The web service provider I had before was fabulous about this - it doesn't take much to get 'listed'. (3DCart surpasses them in every issue but this one so far) Even if you're only submitting legitimate emails that people sign up for - one or two people can mark your item as SPAM and you're on a list.
This is something the domain holder can NOT resolve. 3DCart insists that we have to resolve it ourselves. This just isn't possible - as the blocking domain will NOT work with the individual email address holder - only the email service provider.
It would be different if I was sending hundreds of pure spam emails each month - but I don't. I only send out notices to people who sign up to my list, only about my products, and I use ConstantContact which makes it very easy for people to opt out.
It's very frustrating, but 3DCart did successfully resolve my particular issue.
Good Luck - I hope you'll get this fixed soon!

Please do not open a thread for technical support issues. It is much more efficient to open a ticket.
You said Mark, that your ticket was closed without resolution. Please PM me the ticket #, or your domain name, so I can look into it and assist you.
Your issue, is isolated and is not related to that of cekman's, and as such, we would need to treat it as a specific issue. If 1 provider is blocking your emails, we will try to assist, but in the end, if the trouble is due to them blocking your domain (and i am using hyperbole here), then it may be out of our hands.
Regardless, please let me know your domain or your ticket # and I will see if we can provide any more assistance.

I have found the root of the issue, and it only became public int he past 12 hours:
First, the link where this is located at : http://www.spamstopshere.com/blog/20...ervice-attack/
"many servers hosted at SoftLayer, one of the fastest growing data center companies in the U.S. started being unable to resolve names using Nework Solutions‘ nameservers at worldnic.com. In addition, our e-mail servers at SoftLayer were unable to connect to Network Solutions’ hosted e-mail services at netsolmail.com to deliver e-mail. SoftLayer claims that Network Solutions is undergoing a DoS attack.
In this type of attack, where DoS stands for Denial of Service, the attacker typically floods a public service with more traffic than the service can handle, making the service unavailable to any legitimate users.
A lot of old established companies have had their domain names registered with Network Solutions since Network Solutions was the only available domain name registrar. Some of these established companies have even started to rely on the DNS services provided by Network Solutions as part of their domain name registration service. In addition, Network Solutions started offering e-mail hosting, likely to compete with other domain name registrars that were offering similar services.
Unfortunately, according to SoftLayer’s technicians, Network Solutions has been undergoing a heavy Denial of Service attack which has made their e-mail and DNS services unavailable to large portions of the Internet. NetSol are apparently making demands on large data center providers, including SoftLayer, for help with isolating the source. “Currently the attacker is spoofing the source addresses making it quite difficult to track down. As such Network Solutions requested that we block all outbound traffic to their netblock until further notice. They have also blocked all of our IP space inbound to their network at their provider’s edge,” said E. Kujawski, a senior network engineer at SoftLayer, in their private user forum."

"Please do not open a thread for technical support issues. It is much more efficient to open a ticket."
Well, it seems this thread has indentified a possible lead into the problem I was having. The ticket I submitted did not, and was closed as "not under our control".
The article you referenced is quite possibly the issue. Since last Thursday afternnon, I have been unable to send email from 3dcart server to some of the domains hosted at Network Solutions. I have been sending email from 3dcart to these same domains for two years now. All of a sudden, all are denied.
While the servers are hosted at Softlayer, I submit it quite possible that they did not notify their customers (3dcart) because it appears they were trying to be "quiet" about the whole mess.
Thank you Kildare for searching for a determining cause for me.
