Google Analytics

I just tried setting up the Google Analytics and noticed a few things.
On the Google dashboard, there is not option to configure the default page or whether or not your site is an ecommerce site. For some reason I can't click ecommerce site? yes Does this matter anymore or is this just the "new" analytics dashboard? I checked through goolge help and it just says click the ecommerce site button, but, there IS not button. Any users here that use Analytics regularly?
I got the legacy code and also pasted the script in checkout 4 foot.
Should I be using the legacy code?
