Question Gateway Recommendations?

We are currently looking for a payment Gateway. I saw the recommendation by 3dCart of http://www.bankcardservicesworldwide.com/3dcart/ but the rec was a year old. Is this who they still recommend or is there a better option?

We thought about Authorize.net but do not know the costs and were wondering if anyone had recommendations or even horror stories of who to stay away from.

I've used Linkpoint/Cardservice Int'l since 1998 with no complaints. You could also search "merchant account services" to get comparison rates/features if you want.

I had a merchant account already when I created my site...it was with North American CC, or NOVA Info Systems. They worked with Authorize.net, and since that was compatible with the cart, I went with that.
Off the top of my head, I think I paid $199 to integrate the gateway (NOVA's cost), and a $19.99/mo gateway fee, in addition to my statement fee and the percentages of each sale.

I have not had any problems either with NOVA, or Authorize.net. In fact, both have great customer service.

My best,
Dana

We use authorize.net and have been very happy with the service for about 2 years. Got the account through Humboldt Merchant Bank

Or check out this site:

http://www.emerchantsgroup.com

Both sites (emerchantsgroup and emerchantdiscount) have great deals and will work with almost any gateway... the service level from Bill Dumont (at emerchantdiscount) is exceptional!

So far, so good.

Get point Jared. I've heard a lot of great things about Bill Dumont esp from Yahoo Store owners.
