Feature Requests

Here is a list of items I'd like to see added or improved. I will maintain this list and add new items in time. If any of these items can be done currently please notify me!


Added 09/03/07:
-The ability to remove the shipping calculations in the shopping cart when the item(s) in the cart have free shipping.
-The ability to add a logout button via Site Content.
-More checkout step options (i.e a 2 or 1 step checkout).
-A master list of fields (i.e. [name]), with layman descriptions.
-The ability to change the "Sender" field in 3dcart, so customers see something other than "sales".
-Integration with DHL.
-eProduct special instructions need to be able to be shown in E-Mails.
-The ability to set eProducts to expire after longer than 7 days.
-The ability to parse .html files. For example, folder/index.html will not display but folder/index.asp will.
-Allow more order information to be visible at checkout step 4 (Order Confirmation screen). It would be nice to be able to display what the customer purchased at this screen and have a "Printer Friendly" option.
-The ability to display home page specials anywhere.
-Better Live Chat software (that doesn't reload javascript every 15 seconds when being monitored).
-There needs to be a way to find out which template files are being used. I.e. if using the "default" theme then it should tell you where the listing_0.html file can be found.
-Better reporting software that doesn't consider image requests to be visitors.
-Automatic uploading of feeds to Froogle, Shopping.com, etc.

Added 9/4/07:
-Additional mouse overs in the "Not Completed" orders section, such as a mouse over on totals that shows the contents of the cart.
-Customizable Online Store Manager front page.

Very good list of requests. The list of fields and the logout button need to be on the top of this list!
