I am totally with you on the text box limit of characters. We offer alot of items available for personalization, and although we list the max number of characters, no customers seem to pay attention to this.
I also wish it could be set up that certain text boxes would only appear, after a previous selection was made.
I.E. If they select from a drop down that they want personalization then the text boxes to list the personalization appear.
I have many of situations where items can only be personalized with a min order, but since the text boxes are alreay there, my customers fill them out anyway, and ignore the part where they have to buy a min amount.
Just some suggestions.
