content pages question

In the KB, it says: The look and layout of your main menu is dependant on the template you are using.

But, what file is used to control what these pages look like? I see no place to select a template or any file in the common folder that looks like it is used for other page layout.

Is it the "extrapage.html" file?

now my question is whether you can have more than one layout for these extra pages (non-feed type) and how you name and/or indicate the file to use?
