    I did get a response from support about this and they confirmed that you will get a code 400 error, but it is safe to ignore it.

    I had to get help from support to figure this out. I'm sending this JSON:

    {""SKUInfo"":{""catalogid"":REPLACE_WITH_ID},""Cat egoryList"":[{}]}

    Where REPLACE_WITH_ID is the catatlog id.

    I think it does return a 400 error, or at least is did when I first wrote the code, but it does remove all the categories.

  • Removing Categories Assigned to a Product Using the Rest API

    I need to remove all of the assigned categories from a specific product using the REST API. The documentation is not clear on how to do this.

    Entering 0 for the CategoryID does actually work, however, the API throws a Status 400 "Bad Request" error.

    Does anyone know the correct syntax for removing all of the assigned categories from a single product?
