  • Yahoo indexing "add_cart" pages

I was happy to see my list of yahoo indexed pages go up all of a sudden but around 30% of the links look like this in Yahoo Site Explorer:

I've even noticed that they've indexed

Any thoughts on what to do here? Also, there's a place to submit a sitefeed. If that's compatible with 3dcart, I'd appreciate if anyone can tell me how to create this or where the URL is...and if it's advisable.

    thanks

I thought the robot.txt file blocked access to the cart.asp ?

          Hello,
The default robots.txt asks the search engine to NOT index add_cart.asp
          see it here:

          http://www.policefeet.com/robots.txt

But, that doesn't mean that Yahoo or any other search engine will actually care what you tell them. Google is pretty good at reading it and following the instructions, and so far i haven't seen many issues with Yahoo but this is clearly a case where they are totally ignoring the robots.txt

          Did a quick search:

          http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1...res+robots.txt

And it appears to be an ongoing issue with Yahoo...hopefully they fix that soon.
