  • DNS changes not resolving

We had some 3D DNS changes made a week ago and they are still not resolving on the Internet. How long to wait before open support ticket?

    DNS changes are pretty quick.
What you want to do is:

#1 - Go here: http://whois.sc/[YOUROMAIN] (replace [YOURDOMAIN] with your .domain.

If the dns record do say you are using dns1.3dcart.com, dns2., and dns3. then...

#2 - Go to http://www.iptools.com/, on the DNS lookup, type the record you are looking for, ie. blog.YOURDOMAIN.COM, assumign it was setup, it should resolve and will say something like:

    ;blog.YOURDOMAIN.com. IN A 127.0.0.1 < ip address

if its blank, then it means the dns server doesn't have the record and it was not setup right. If that's the case, then please update the ticket or create a new tickets so that we can take a look.
