  • Create custom search by specific field only?

We are a personalization company and want to use the search function to create various ways to shop other than product type categories such as shop by recipient and shop by occasion. To better control the results of the links we would create (such as "Gifts for Him" as the link, search.asp?keyword=Gifts+for+him as the result) is there a parameter we can put in the search.asp string to limit the search to only a custom field in the products, such as custom field 10? This would help so products that just so happen to have those three words in the description in various places don't show up. Also, is there a way to make it so the search keywords have to all appear in the order typed to return a result such as Gifts&For&Him instead of using plus signs?

    Any help is appreciated!

Never mind, the "Hide" category feature has proven to be quite nifty and we can just create categories for the the various shop by options and hide them, then call them in a separate list of links.
