Can't get rid of the related products!!

Go to Settings>General>Store Settings to make sure you have turned off the Random Related Products setting. If that box is checked you will still get related items to show even if you don't select any for the individual products.

I am working on a new store and have modified the sample products that are already there in the cart. The problem is the related products won't go away. I have deleted them from the items themselves but when viewing them in the storefront they still show up.

I don't have this happening on our other live store and didn't have this problem when I was setting the store up in the trial version.

Does anyone know where these are being picked up from and how to get rid of them?
