    Yeah, sorry about that. I forgot I added some extras in there that I had forgotten about. I pulled my backup of the original template layout and used it for the "replace this with that" post above so you could match apples to apples.

    One more thing... I probably need to be a tad more specific for you since you are unfamiliar with coding. Replace this part of the code:

    Code:
    <!--START: ITEM_TEMPLATE_0-->
    <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5" border="0" width="99%" class="alternative">
    <tr>
    <td align="center" height="150"><a href="product.asp?itemid=[catalogid]"><img src="thumbnail.asp?file=[THUMBNAIL]&maxx=0&maxy=150" alt="[name]" border="0"></a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="item" align="center" height="60"><a href="product.asp?itemid=[catalogid]">[name]</a></td>
    </tr>
    With THIS:

    Code:
    <!--START: ITEM_TEMPLATE_0-->
    <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5" border="0" width="99%" class="alternative">
    <tr>
    <td align="center" height="150"><a href="product.asp?itemid=[catalogid]"><img src="thumbnail.asp?file=[THUMBNAIL]&maxx=0&maxy=150" alt="[name]" border="0"></a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="item" align="center" height="60"><a href="product.asp?itemid=[catalogid]">[name]</a></td>
    </tr>
    <!-- Added row for number of products in stock -->
    <tr>
    <td class="item"><b>[product_Header-availability]</b><span class="price">&nbsp;&nbsp;[stock] In Stock</span></td>
    </tr>
    That should do it for you. :)

    Because it's a template, it'll repeat that section of code for as many times as you display products on the category page. So that one piece of code just needs to be inserted once and it'll repeat for each product displayed. Gotta love templates. :D

    I am using style 1. Does this need placed under each product or will placing it where you said to place it let it show under all products?

    Well it sort of depends on which category style (Products > Category > Advanced Button > Category Page Settings) you're using and where you want it to display. Mine is Style 1 and I display it right under the product name on my category pages, so I have that snippet of code placed right after the code that says

    Code:
    <tr>
    <td class="item" align="center" height="30"><a href="product.asp?itemid=[catalogid]" title="[name]">[name]</a></td>
    </tr>
    so if you want something similar, look for the area where the [name] tag is listed in your category template.

    Thanks Piaf. I'm not too bright when it comes to editing the templates. Is there anywhere in particular this goes or just stick it in there somewhere?

    Yep, you just modify your category template. :)

    I just added this row to my category listings display:

    Code:
    <tr>
    <td class="item"><b>[product_Header-availability]</b><span class="price">&nbsp;&nbsp;[stock] In Stock</span></td>
    </tr>

    started a topic Show inventory on category page

    Show inventory on category page

    Is there anyway to show the inventory figures on the category pages? Had not even noticed this issue before, right now, customers have to go to the item page to see inventory levels.
Working...
