  • How to remove the 3dcart Email Marketing logo from newsletter

    Hi All

I just noticed that the 3dcart logo is being added to our custom newsletters.

Has anyone figured out how to replace this logo. email_marketing.png found in
    assets>templates>common>images.

I have entered a replacement logo in all known default areas.

Ah no wonder being pulled directly from prohibited folder and cannot use the common like in the web site.
    Email code: <img src="http://www.your-domain.com/assets/templates/common/images/email_marketing.png" alt="Email Powered by 3dcart"

Need to add a function to replace the url. Or send the logo off the page.
    Anybody?

I was looking at adding: message.Body = message.Body.Replace but not much good if placeholder name is unknown.

So could it be in Store Language? YES!
      under: mailings

I would just remove the logo and leave the other much needed sender and unsubscribe link.

      We already had the following:
      Code:
      Published by Our Store

This email was sent to [email protected]
      From Our Store
      123 G Way, city, ID 83201 US

(REMOVE) - to be instantly removed from this list.
The new code added the following below what we already had in place:
      Code:
This message was sent to [email protected] by http://www.our-store.com
located at 123 G Way city ID 83201.
The newly added code doesn't record the sale should the customer place an order after clicking the unsubscribe link. This can only be done if the url is present in the newsletter template appose to the placeholder.

The newsletter system will add "referer=mailid:?" to your urls so you can track sales on your newsletter champagnes.
This is done when sending the newsletter out but since there is no url on the template the tracking code is not added insteed the url is drawn from the place holder as is.

If you would like the tracking to work you can copy the unsubscribe code from mailing in the store Language, paste that code in your newsletter template then delete the code from the store Language.

          Rock On!
