  • How to get Hyperlink to Open in a New Window

    Let's say that I want a hyperlink on my page to open up in a new window. For instance, I want a link to my ebay product listings to open in a new window. What do I enter into the "add hyperlink" dialogue box?

    Thanks,

    Justin

    In the Target drop-down list, select "blank". It should look something like this:

    <a href="http://www.link address.html" target="_blank">Text That Will Show</a>

      Normally you would put :

      <a href="http://www......." target="_blank">
      link here
      </a>

      Where is the "add hyperlink" dialog box? I didn't see that on the product pages of admin.

      Why would you want to drive traffic away from your own site? You should try to divert traffic to your site from outside, not the other way around.

        I want people to be able to read the full review of my products on various review websites. Since my product is the best, by far, I don't mind sending them away. They will come back right away or sometime in the future. I am sure it is best to keep them in my website, but I don't have time to consider the issue at this time. I just want the review website to pop a new window so that my website also stays open.
