  • showing site in https

I am having a problem with the 3dcart site keeping http and https straight. If an error occurs on an https page, it shows an https error page with a continue button. When the customer clicks this button it goes to the home page in a secure browser: https://xxxxx
Also, if I type http://www.mysite.com/mobile it goes the https://mysite.com/mobile/home.asp?#home Why?
and then if you click "view full site" at the bottom, it takes you to a secure version of the site.
I am able to document these two instances, but I suspect there are other ways customers end up browsing the site in https.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or has a solution to keeping the two sides straight. I would like to never have the site browsed in https, except on checkout pages.

Was there ever an answer to this? I just ran a scenario where I placed and order and landed back at my home page, but my home page is now https. I have a small iframe running and now that the page is https, it won't allow the iframe content to show.

Yes, 3dcart fixed it. I don't know what they did, but it is done and I have not run across it since. It took a couple of tries though.

As for the mobile, we have disabled it long ago. Too many issues with no fixes. I hear there is an update to the mobile coming this fall.

Thanks for the info....I'll open a ticket about the https on the home page. As for the mobile, it looks pretty good on my end. I'll have to search through the forums to see what's been going wrong.
