It is like most features on 3dcart. Introduced with some functionality but still has lots of flaws and problems.
I am most appreciative of this cart, and it is amongst the best out there, but it can be so much better if there was a system in place to listen to feedback and to fix existing features.

Long outstinding issues like the mobile module, the gzip issue, unreliable mail servers, and many others are well documented here in the forums.

The dev's/admins need to focus more on function over form. 4.0 came out in July of last year which means there has been 8 months that they could/should be focusing in on bug fix's, some outstanding since 2010.
