v6.0 Gotchas

Thought it might be nice to have one thread where "gotchas" could be accumulated as relates to the current updating of stores to v6.0. Here are my contributions:

1.Custom file naming has had the yes/no setting moved into the new SEO Tools section of Admin. AND by default it is set to "no".

2.The thumbnail tag had something changed. All my thumbnails were broke for awhile.

Anyone on an "x" plan been updated to v6.0 yet?

Does anyone know where the Q&A shows up within a product page? I've enabled it, cleared the cache, and I still can't find an area that has a Q&A...

My store just updated as I was working on something. Everything looks to be working well, although some things have moved around in the menus.

Anyone else having trouble with the gift wrap module? I copied and pasted the code exactly as instructed, but it does not work. When we click in the button to select the gift wrap option, none of the options display, nor is there any way to close the pop up window that opens to select the type of gift wrap. I'm pulling my hair out trying to determine why this is not working. Hours and hours of wasted time.

Use FTP to download the template out of the common folder and CCP from that. We had problems with several things when copying out of the knowledge-base article. It looks identical but using the template worked for us.

Thanks, I will try that tomorrow. That is what I was going to do originally anyway, but then for who knows what reason I couldn't connect via FTP today so I was trying to do the regular old copy and paste technique.

unpaid orders bug...you cannot add items to the unpaid order unless it is placed in the new status (which triggers emails to the drop-shippers).

I was hoping to copy some code from the tabbed template (listing_3.html) but it looks like they're not supporting more than one listing template with the updates. Hopefully they'll be coming out with updates but support didn't seem to know anything about it. This could be very confusing for a lot of people.

I can tell you it takes alot of work to get Q&A to work on the tabs.

You have to remove some functionality, as getting it to open the tab from the link is very difficult. Its certainly possible but thats beyond my JS ability.

You have to split the code up a few different ways. Theres also a piece missing from the knowledgebase. Guessing thats why they didnt add it to the common template.

Anyone fix the "0 stars for no reviews" not showing after the upgrade? Site looks silly like that. Ive seen a couple posts about it but not how its being fixed.
