  • Database Feed example?

I'm trying to figure out if I can use a database feed for my educational articles. I want the SEO for these articles, so if I do this I would post them on the blog, then use the database feed to display them under a page called "Education desk." This would be similar to an FAQ or compilation of product reviews or something.

But I'm not sure if I should post full articles or just excerpts that link to the blog to avoid duplicate content. In other words, does Google index the database feeds?

Adding: I just deleted and regenerated the sitemap and it looks like only the parent page is listed, not the database feed pages. But since they are html pages I don't see how they're not indexed.

I'd actually prefer if they weren't so I can post full versions there without being dinged for duplicate content there and on the blog. Otherwise the reader has to click through twice to get to the blog article--first from the main page to the excerpt, from the excerpt to the blog.
