Already tried that and no dice. I think there're probably issues with lifestream and how it handles certain RSS feeds...

I don't think that is possible, but an easy workaround is to use Feedburner. Point them at the Blog feed, and they will republish it in a standardized format of your choice. Then scrape that with the jquery?

Possible to disable certain RSS feeds?

I'm trying to use jquery lifestream to build an auto-updating news/social feed on our homepage. One of the things I want to include in this is the blog RSS feed.

However, for some reason, lifestream won't accept the /rss.asp?type=blog URL -- it ends up not showing anything. If I instead supply it the /rss.asp URL with no qualifier, it works, except it lists a bunch of stuff I don't want: new releases, etc.

I know it's a simple matter to disable the RSS feeds entirely, but that's not what I want to do... does anyone know if it's possible to turn off certain feeds, but leave the blog enabled, so that /rss.asp would ONLY show blog posts?

    Thanks!
