Posting Rules
This forum was created to help 3dcart users share tips on getting the best out of the service, offer knowledge and experiences about e-commerce in general, and to promote a positive environment in which our merchants can request/dispense advice regarding best practices.

The forum was not created for 3dcart users to submit requests for customer support. Any support related thread will be removed and a support ticket will be placed on your behalf. If you have technical difficulties please visit http://support.3dcart.com.

The 3dcart forum is also not intended to be a medium in which to express dissatisfaction about 3dcart's service, policies or its management and staff. Threads of this nature will also be removed from the forum. If a support issue with your 3dcart store was not resolved in a satisfactory manner; or if you feel that a particular 3dcart offering/policy is not to your liking, please let us know by emailing [email protected] so we can address your concerns directly.

Again, our purpose is to cultivate a positive learning environment for our merchants rather than platform in which to express grievances.

Very Important Rules:
* Never give away your store administration login/password in this forum.

Should you need technical help, please let 3dcart staff help.
Also, please be aware that 3dcart staff will NEVER need to ask for your 3dcart related passwords.

  • First Class Mail disappeared

I have four stores with 3dcart and have just realized that First Class Mail is suddenly not being shown to my customers as a Shipping Method in ANY of my stores. Nothing has changed on the backend.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm a bit desperate to get it fixed, since all of our sites sell primarily small, lightweight products and First Class Mail is our most-used option. We will definitely be losing sales.

    Tracy,
I have forwarded this issue to 3dcart's Support Manager.
Personally, I have no idea what's going on but I'll do what I can to get our crew on it right away.
Thanks for reaching out... and for your patience. Hang tight. We'll figure this all out.
    Best,

      Crud!

Its missing from our store as well (and my most used shipping option too). I double-checked and it is still listed on my shipping options in admin. Have errands to run now, but Ill see about sending in a support ticket to help escalate it. Hopefully this can get fixed ASAP!

          Quick update.
If you haven't already, I need you both to submit a support ticket for this. Once complete, post the ticket number and I can escalate the request in an effort to help get this taken care of immediately.
          Thanks,

                update

An update - support has gotten First Class to show up again as a method for qualifying orders.
However, it is now pulling the USPS rates for a letter, rather than for a package. For example, a 2 oz package mailed within my same zip code should be $2.32 in First Class mail, but it is charging customers only the letter-rate of 70 cents.

Well, I'm glad they were able to get things working again. As for the price discrepancy, I will follow up with 3dcart's support manager now to see what I can uncover.
                  Thanks for your patience.

                    Tracy,
Can you do me a favor?
Reply to the open ticket you have with 3dcart support and explain the pricing issue. Our manager said as soon as that comes in, he'll be able to work on fixing it right away.
                    Thanks,

I actually did reply to that open ticket before posting here, about thirty minutes ago.
Thanks for staying on top of this.

We had this happen to our store a few days ago. But the problem was solved by deleting that shipping method and adding "USPS - First Class Package" as a new one.

I suspect that this has something to do with the recent increase in rates, perhaps a USPS API issue.

It's worth noting that I've had no interruption in my First Class service.

Do you have any very light things? I noticed it was only effecting packages under 2oz.
