  • Phone order and checkout pages submit button not working - Websites down

    The submit/checkout button is not working on both the phone order page and the front end checkout. It started as an issue with just one of my stores on a specific computer. It is now happening on all our computers and our customers are experiencing this problem too on all of our websites. This is a MAJOR problem. We can't take or receive orders. Our websites are essentially down. We are losing sales. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Our site just changed in the middle of me placing a customer's order. The layout changed and now all the radio buttons are missing. We did not change anything on our admin to cause this problem.

    Our pictures were on the top, followed by the description, followed by the radio choices. Now the picture is on the left and description on the right and the radio buttons are missing.

    We had to put a message on our right side of our site for people to place the orders by phone, as they cannot make a selection.

      This is the upgrade to v6.3 that someone was wondering what happened to. They finally upgraded 2 of our stores today and it has been a mess. I still have 1 store that no one can checkout in. I cannot believe that they do these upgrades on Monday mid-day. It is the absolutely worst time to do it. The busiest day of the week. If it were up to me, my stores would always be the last to be upgraded to a new version and it would be performed at a time of my choosing----not the middle of the day. Sorry for the rant, but this is ridiculous!

        Nope, customers are still not able to click the radio buttons to add a product to the cart. Not all of our products have radio button options, but many do. We are having to do phone order work arounds, provided they take the time to call in their order.

            We still have 1 store that no one can checkout on. It has 16+ hours now that the website has been unusable! This is unbelievable! If your store has not been upgraded to 6.3 thank your lucky stars! The ebay module has remained gone, we cannot enter orders in front end or back end of the store. It is a nightmare! What in the world is going on 3dcart? Have you all left the building?

              Our store was just upgraded to 6.3. I do not see any adverse effects. All seems to be running as usual.

                Overnight 1 store was fixed. 1 is still non-functional. Both are on 6.3 and use the standard single page checkout page without modification so I guess the only difference would be what server they are on.

                  Apparently broken again. We cannot place phone orders from the backend or from the checkout pages on the front end of the websites on 6.3.

                    Wow, they really need to communicate with each other. This is the response I got.

                    We've confirmed that this issue only occurs on the free HTML5 template you are currently using, not any of the other free HTML5 templates. These are still in beta testing, so any fixes made by the developer will most likely be released when the templates are officially released. In the meantime, I recommend using another template.

                      Then I got this response:

                      Currently the radio button option is currently not capable with the html-5 template design, we are still beta testing these templates so some functions will display or work differently than the basic template. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, I can suggest using the checkbox option instead for now.

                          The checkout issue is now fixed for our 2 stores. Seems to be there was a browser compatibility issue of some type that may still occur if repeat customers do not clear their cache. Refresh pages and clear cache and see if yours is fixed if you have that issue.

                              Kudos to John S. for working so hard.

                              Everything is not completely fixed, but he and his team have done a lot of work to get it almost finished.
