  • Google Analytics and 3dcart Subdomain

    Hi,

I'm currently using 3dcart's ssl so my checkout occurs on my subdomain on 3dcartstores.com. I have activated GA Universal analytics. The problem is that all my conversions show as "Direct". Is 3dcart not setup for the cross domain tracking for our subdomains? If not, does anyone know an easy fix?

    Thanks!

Holy coincidence batman...I just signed in to ask this same question because it is really starting to hinder my ability to do deeper analysis on my conversions.

Sorry I can't help but to say there are others of us (or at least 1 other of us) that have the same problem.

Hope someone has an answer other than to say to buy the cert.

I think you'll have to forgo the built in Universal Analytics and use cross domain tracking code in your frame.html and in the checkout html files. https://support.google.com/analytics.../1034342?hl=en

I didn't want to bother with that so I went ahead and purchased an ssl cert. so all transactions occur on my domain.
