  • Phone Order add custom transaction

    I have an unique question regarding phone orders. We just processed a phone order as normal but as soon as we processed the credit card payment, the customer asked if he could add to the order.

    We were wondering if there is a way to add to the order which would also process the charges accordingly?? I see the feature "add custom transaction" but I do not know what that is actually used for.

    Because I had the customer on the phone, I just went ahead and processed another order this time. But, was curious if someone knew the process for adding to an order that already is in their system.

    If the order status is "New", you can add to it from the menu. Then you would use the Virtual Terminal to create a charge for the difference.
