  • Need Some Troubleshooting help - Quick Cart & View in IE

    Hi All,

In IE we are having issues with getting Quick Cart and Quick View to work correctly.

Our site is Skateboards - Specialty Sports Online Skateboarding Store

For now I've turned off Quick Cart, it was too confusing for customers not working. These are the errors it gave us in the IE Console when I had it on:

    jquery-1.3.2.min.js, line 12 character 6974
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'isFunction'
    jquery-1.3.2.min.js, line 12 character 528
    SCRIPT5009: 'Array' is undefined
    view_cart_quick.asp, line 52 character 5
SCRIPT5007: Unable to set value of the property 'innerHTML': object is null or undefined
    quick_view.js, line 1 character 879
Quick View gives us these, I still have it on right now trying to figure out what is causing both issues (my guess is they are related and something stupidly small)

SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'removeExpression'
    quick_view.js, line 1 character 6338
    SCRIPT1002: Syntax error
    Skateboard-Decks_c_4.html, line 1 character 6
    SCRIPT5009: 'eval' is undefined
    magiczoomplus.js, line 1 character 1
    SCRIPT5009: 'MagicZoomPlus' is undefined
    product.asp?lt_c=1&itemid=21020&qv=1&, line 18 character 5
    SCRIPT5009: 'Array' is undefined
    product.asp?lt_c=1&itemid=21020&qv=1&, line 171 character 1
    SCRIPT5009: 'String' is undefined
    listing.js, line 1 character 1469
Support pretty much said they can't help because I modified my DOCTYPE to work with Google Trusted Stores. Thing is when I did change/test what they wanted we still couldn't get it to work.

We also created a demo store, changed nothing other then turn on Quick Cart and while it did work (unlike ours) it threw up all the same errors our did.

Any ideas? My first guess was maybe it was due to the fact that the DOCTYPE for HMTL 4.01 using just > while vs XHTML 1.0 uses /> (and I think 3Dcart generates all it's code this way). I did test it and nothing changed.
Working...
