  • New Update is a Mess

Sooo many bugs since this last update.... Google says all of my pages are unreachable (when I do Fetch as Googlebot)

When you click on the date, it would populate to the same day... worked perfect, now you have to go in and click on the date.

Shipping/Billing address are all eff'ed up on my old orders.

Submitted a ticket, no response, chat is offline - even when they are online, no one answers... What is up??

I know they are working hard, but why changed things that worked well.

have you tested your payment options also? I only use paypal, I am about to check that. But I would check those as well so that you can make a list of the most important items.

        Blog is hosed

Upgrade definitely hosed my blog. Adding custom URLs to any of the categories makes the category take over the main URL. Explanation:

The problem I have is this: when I make a custom file name for any of the BLOG CATEGORY pages, THAT URL "takes over" the main blog URL.

        Example:

        I go to admin> socialcommerce>blog>categories

go to the last category, #900, "Manifesto", and add "manifesto.html" to the custom file name field

        ...it creates this URL: www.atomic-moto.com/manifesto.html

that URL OVERWRITES or REDIRECTS the original blog URL (Atomic-Moto Blog) so it now becomes THE MAIN URL for the blog.

I wonder if this is caused by the changes to the canonical URL structure in the blog?? Don't know.

I have stripped out the custom file names, so it is working at the moment. But I have opened a ticket with support.

Can you provide the ticket number and I'll be glad to look into that for you?

The calendar component has been updated, so it does require selecting the date. The previous calendar had cross-browser compatibility issues. Sorry if that caused a mess but it's the standard for web application.

Unfortunately I don't understand the issue with the Shipping/Billing on old orders, it'll be great if you can clarify that issue or provide the ticket number if the description is already included on it.

                Another blog problem....

Found another blog issue....it looks like there is a maximum number of characters now on short posts. Any posts that are longer throw a bunch of bad HTML:

Don't know if it's related, but all of our order confirmation and shipping emails to our customers with aol and comcast addresses have been bouncing back since the update. I'll be putting in a ticket this morning.

Very Frustrating. I just spent two hours trying to figure out why I could not make my link work in the blog preview. It looks like it is because there is a new character limit bug.

                        This was never addressed AFAIK.
