  • Google Rejecting Images, because of Robot.TXT restrictions

Anybody else have their Paid listings rejected because of : Google cannot be crawled because robot.txt forbids Google crawlers to download the image. They will not allow our ads until this is fixed. We did not do any changes to our site, to make this happen.

We do have a ticket in with support and hopefully they will get this fixed RIGHT AWAY, as we are not showing in paid google product ads.

Heads up, check your feeds to make sure that you are not having the same issue.

Our feeds were perfect, until Saturday at the 1:00 upload.

    Marketing >> SEO Tools
    "Edit Robots.txt File"

The folder containing your images is likely disallowed. Erase the line stating so.

It was a week long process, but it had to do with the install of our EV SSL and the https. Nothing was changed by us. Tech did get it fixed.

I'm glad you got it fixed. I'm curious, though... The robots.txt blocks all https:// by default. Did you move the whole store over to a secure site with the new SSL?
