    I do not get many refunds/returns, so it has not been an issue until now just after Xmas and dealing with typical returns.

    BUT... Is there option to change an order status to Refund? I see cancel, but where is Refunded?
    Cancel to me is not the same as refunded.

    Even better, what if the customer only returns 1 item of 2 or more. The order should not be Cancelled, but have an option for Partially Refunded.

    Another thing: If you refund some of the order, it still shows the original balance on the admin.

      Pack Secure and IslandJay - I use the new Credit function - you still have to refund manually, but at least the balance in admin is correct. On the order go to transactions - Add Custom Transaction - then select Credit.

          IslandJay -- this KB article shows how to create custom order statuses -- you could add a "refund" and "Partially Refunded" statuses to your store:

          Partial refunds still have to be done manually through your payment processor -- it would be nice if you could through the Admin, however.

            this is a core function that is severely lacking!!! I just screwed up an order doing this. Also does it not take it out of your monthly totals when a sale is canceled?
