  • Ship/Markup Calculation

    Hi all,

Looking for info on how adding a Ship/Markup value to an individual product works. For example:

I have a widget that I add a $1 Ship/Markup to. If a customer buys three widgets, will they be charged $1 extra for each one? Or is $1 extra just added to the total order?

Also, if the widget is marked for free shipping, will the Ship/Markup still be added?

I added a product to the cart and ran the shipping cost and it showed $25.30 (heavy item). I added two of them and it showed $51.35.

I then added a $5 markup to the same product. The shipping then became $30.30 for one and $61.35 for two. This shows that it adds $5.00 for each product.

I then changed that product to free shipping and it came out $0 for 1 and $0 for two, with the $5.00 markup.

    I hope this helps.
