duplicate product display on search page

v8.1 seems to be cuausing products listed in more than 1 category to be displayed multiple times on the returned seach page. Anyone else seeing this?

Well, THIS is bad. Yes we see this on our site too. What a mess. Have you submitted a ticket? What is 3dcart saying about it? 3dcart-Geronimo help??

It also seems that the feature that's supposed to drop down a list of results from the search bar as you type in your search query is either broken or disabled (with no action on our part).

Yes, I started a ticket and response was that they replicated the problem and forwarded to developers (may take 3-5+ days to resolve).

JustPoppin Yes and that should be resolved with it as well. It seemed to happen with the product is present in multiple categories.
