  • Received over 1800 SPAM CRM messages in the past 2 hours - How to stop it?

In the past couple hours I've received over 1800 spam messages from our contact form on our website. The only content in the message is the number 3. There is also no IP Address listed. It just says "IP: n/a" (see attached images). We also have the CAPTCHA enabled on our contact form.

Does anyone know what's going on here and how to stop it?

    Thanks,
    Eric

I should add that the email address from all of them is "[email protected]". Can I block Netsparker in the Robot.txt file?

I have not heard of this before. Is it coming from the same IP address? Can the IP address be blocked?

The IP address says "IP: n/a" (see photo), which is really weird!

That is so weird. I really hope that 3D gets this figured out for you.

are you able to log into your stats and see what IP address has been there the most recent and start to block ip address ranges this way - once you block this it may stop it or some type of worm 3dcart has to stop on your server

Had the same thing happen to our newsletter signup with that exact same netspark email address awhile back. I did find that it was coming from some rackspace servers and reported it. At that time they supposedly took care of the problem and we had no issues since. Wonder if 3dCart can block that email system wide. Obviously they can simply change the email, but at least it its something to help...

recaptcha should be kicking in tho

3dcart needs to step in since either recaptcha was hacked or there is a hole somewhere in your website thus 3dcart. Happened a couple times via newsletter signup to someone I know who also uses 3dcart store. They ended up removing newsletter signup ability. Basically attack on 3dcart system
