  • Site Search Results

    Is there a way (if not there should be) to organize search result in sight.

    Example: www.caoh.com
    search word: goji

    Results show:

    1. Page Results
    2. Category
    3. Products

    If you have content on your site with "goji" the products are below the fold (meaning you have to scroll down to seem them). Now it seems to mean this should be flipped - where products would be be first, categories second and then pages.

    Isn't the point to get the customer to the product first?

    Or at least have a short cut at top to these groups.

    Is there a way to change this without going into the template?

    I have only been able to do it through the template. Here is my core template. I only needed to swap the code blocks around.

    HTML Code:
    <!--START: BODY_HEADER-->

    <section class="breadcrumnb">

        <div class="container">

            <ol itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/BreadcrumbList" class="clearfix">

                <li itemprop="itemListElement"itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/ListItem"><a href="home.asp" itemprop="name">Home</a></li>

                <li itemprop="itemListElement" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/ListItem"><a href="search.asp?keyword=[keyword]" itemprop="name"><span itemprop="name">[Search_Header-pages]</span></a></li>

            </ol>

        </div>

    </section>

      Could you maybe give me and example of what to move? I am always shy about editing some of this stuff.

        It's already moved in my example. You can just copy and paste if you are on a core theme. You can see it working here https://www.toocutebeads.com/search....d=bracelet+kit

              You need search.html. It will be in the common-core folder. Once you edit it, it will move into your burg-core folder with the edited version.
