Google's (and now Bing's) Recommended "Mobile" Solution

Is there any word from 3DCart regarding how Google and Bing both recommend using the same URL for delivering mobile content to the end-user? Currently, when mobile is active, it sends them to a different URL.

I would be so happy to see this type of mobile solution. I don't think 3d is set up for it though. It can be done thru CSS styling, but the system relies on tables so much it would be a nightmare, IMHO.
