  • Rich Snippets No Longer Work on 3DCart

    We have lots of great reviews, but they do not show up on Google's Search. This is huge for us to help promote the hard work we have done. Can anyone help us with this?

    Have you checked your page in google web master tools? Rich Snippets are actually pretty complicated. I am totally rewriting mine so they work better with google.

      Yes, we have checked and they do not work. We have two errors. This worked for us a few months ago before one of a 3DCart update.

        3Dcart rich snippets do not work for me either.

        In Google merchant center I have constant errors showing for
        a. Missing microdata for condition
        b. Automatic item updates: Missing schema.org microdata availability information
        c. Automatic item updates: Missing schema.org microdata price information

        I do not know where the errors are coming from because my shopping feeds do provide this info
        I have asked support for help but none is forthcoming and I have waited 3 months

          I have also and watched hours of videos to try to make this work. Still nothing. I will get it to work, just wanted to see if there was anyone out there that had a solution/assist.

            Even the newest 3dcart templates don't have all the microdata formatted correctly for product listings. You're going to have to do some research and editing of your HTML. (Check out Schema.org)

              I asked 3DCart for help on this last March and still no resolution. I have given up. I am now using a responsive template designed and installed by [email protected] which is great but the underlying 3DCart coding still has the microdata issues.

              I have not entered any microdata on my site as thought this was dynamically generated by 3DCart. The errors below from my google merchant center show that I am not performing updates even though I have checked this in my google settings. I have other errors too but only for some of my products which puzzles me. My shopping feeds all give condition and availability information.

              Where do I place any microdata that I generate to resolve this without duplicating anything auto genrated by 3DCart .

                Hi all,

                I've notified the support team supervisors of this issue so they can investigate it (and the tickets created for it) and rerpot any updates on the matter from the dev team.

                  Shorne Did you click on the items to investigate? From what you posted it looks like you only have 1 item missing availability info and 1 item missing price. 2 items are missing condition, but there could be some overlap between these three errors. If you click on the number, it will show you the affected items.

                    My microdata issues still persist although the total number of them changes very few days with no intervention from me. I am, not understanding why I cannot achieve the auto updates that Google says I need when I have checked these settings. I also dont understand the product warning for missing microdata which actually HAS the price availability and condition in my product page html markup http://www.bestbodyshaver.com/MK3-Pe...-All_p_37.html . I ran this through the Google markup tester and its say it is OK

                      Shorne the first image you attached does show the warning, but does not show any "affected items." Likely you fixed the problem on the affected items and the warnings will disappear.

                        Btw, we upgraded to a new responsive theme this week and everything works perfect now.

                            I am using a responsive theme, which I think all of them are now (unless you are using an older, legacy theme), and the rich snippets show up automatically, including the reviews.

                              It didn't for me. I had to hire someone to add the code in that template.
