  • ebay 3dcart inventory sync ideas HELP!

Does any one know of a way to sync 3dcart and ebay inventory? Channel Advisor wants percent of gross and a minimum of 45K a month off ebay. Solid commerce and monsoon want a percentage cut too. We sell higher value items and those price models are insane for tracking 100 ebay SKUs.

Linnworks looks okay but because it does not integrate with Stone Edge Order Manager. We have to use Stone Edge because of purchasing, FIFO and it runs local.

    Help!

      No.
Stone Edge only imports orders from and exports tracking#s to ebay through Blackthorne. Stone Edge cannot interface with ebay. If you have changes in inventory in Stone Edge such a receiving new stock or sold through another channel you have to manually update Blackthorn to update ebay. Stone Edge cannot update Blackthorne of inventory changes.

We use CA to sync up the inventory with our two 3dcart sites. We export an inventory file from CA and import it to both 3dcarts manually. It's a 15-20 minutes job and we do this twice a week.

Although the inventory on both 3dcart sites are not uptodate, but they are not doing much sales anyways. Our custom site is in sync with CA real time. We've been with CA for 7+ years and as of today, our inventory count is not too far off. :)

Our problem is they want us doing 45K minimum off ebay and we don't right now so besides them being high we can't even get started with them.

I've talked to them many times and they've never required 45k. Try a new rep?

I guess you mean a $500K a month, because 45K a month is $540K annually and that is what they want to start.

We have to deal with CA in Denver and I guess they have high rent!

We use Monsoon. And had a custom integration between Monsoon and 3dcart created. The creator is looking for others to purchase this. It would be a one time fee. Not sure on the amount. We also sell high end items (computer software). One thing that you may not know about Monsoon is that they will not charge you more then 2 dollars per order for commission. So this is huge savings if you sell high end items. If you want more info, contact me at [email protected].

John Markus at Monsoon quoted us the program last June @ $2,000.00 (normally $3,000) upfront plus 2% of sales capped at $2.00 per item. It also has to run on your own equipment. 2% is passed off as a bargain as a % of gross, but in ecommerce it is a large % of potential profit. 2% is Channeladvisor type prices.
