    Has anyone used https://www.refund-retriever.com/ ?

    If you have not used them, have you contacted them and decided not to use their service? Why not?

    Do you or have you used a similar service? Are you happy with the service?

    I have been contacted by one of these companies, and I even remember seeing one in the 3dcart app store.
    It looked like a good idea, but I never took any action on it. I'd also be interested if anyone here has used one of these services.

      Tried a similar service called 71lbs. After a year I have received exactly $0 in refunds. They do seem to be monitoring our shipments, but so far have not found anything that qualifies I guess.

        I have filed for 3 guarantees this year on orders that were a few days late, so I know the problem exists.

        It seems good, but just wondering if anyone sees a downside?

          They take a 50% cut of your refund. Unless you actively monitor these things and have the time to submit the claims, I can't see the downside. Also, they offer some reports that could help you to optimize and potentially bargain for a better UPS discount. I've been using this company for a while and the refunds are pretty minor but the reporting is nice. For me, they disputed about $1300 in 9 months so I got back half of that.

              We've been using Refund Retriever since 2011 and they've been great to work with. When our shipping volume started to increase, we didn't have the manpower to audit every UPS bill. Some months we save only $30-40, but some are in the hundreds.

              I think of it as found money - we couldn't keep track of monitoring every shipment, so UPS was just getting away with overcharging us for late deliveries.

                  Awesome, thanks. You'll really like their dashboard and reports too. They have some benchmarking tools that allow you to see how your discounts compare to others with similar volume.

                      An update for the forum:

                      We signed up with Refund Retriever and so far have been pleased. The reporting they give is very nice. They even managed to get $6.24 so far reversed on a late delivery. It is not much, as they do take 50%, but it is more than we would have had.

                        Thank you bzeltzer for the recommendation. We also signed up with Refund Retriever and I already see a $111 refund on our UPS statement for this week. I guess I have to give $55.50 back to RR, but it is money I did not have last week.
                        Brandon at RR was helpful with setup, and their dashboard is helpful.
