This forum was created to help 3dcart users share tips on getting the best out of the service, offer knowledge and experiences about e-commerce in general, and to promote a positive environment in which our merchants can request/dispense advice regarding best practices.

The forum was not created for 3dcart users to submit requests for customer support. Any support related thread will be removed and a support ticket will be placed on your behalf. If you have technical difficulties please visit

The 3dcart forum is also not intended to be a medium in which to express dissatisfaction about 3dcart's service, policies or its management and staff. Threads of this nature will also be removed from the forum. If a support issue with your 3dcart store was not resolved in a satisfactory manner; or if you feel that a particular 3dcart offering/policy is not to your liking, please let us know by emailing [email protected] so we can address your concerns directly.

Again, our purpose is to cultivate a positive learning environment for our merchants rather than platform in which to express grievances.

We still have it live on Shopify. But we are almost finished with our new 3dcart and I am just trying to get the balls to make the live change over

If you are not live, how do you know Shopify is faster than 3dCart?

It is live just not on our URL

I would also like to have an app or something that allows me to send customers invoices, accept partial payments, etc. I currently do my invoicing through QuickBooks but I would much rather have one tool for customer service, viewing order history, and payments. Also a lot of my customers need a printable invoice that shows the payment method, last 4 of the card, and what payments have been applied. invoice_print on 3dcart doesn't even have a credits/payments line.

I too did a ton or research and landed on 3dcart because of all of its advanced features already built in. But I could really use an App or Module or something for more advanced invoicing.

We solved the invoicing problem with a combination of Zapier, QuickBooks, and DocuPilot. With this suite of tools, we were able to create fully customized invoice documents that are automatically generated and emailed to the customer when an order is shipped. As many of our customers have term accounts with us, we use QuickBooks to manage the billing and collection process with Zapier set up to do followup reminders and to send out payment received email messages.

We also use several custom zaps to manage the unique invoicing requirements of some of our larger overseas customers. Additional zaps check shipping and billing details that customers provide when they enter an order on our website. E.g., annual confirmation of their invoicing email address, confirming that international phone numbers are correctly formatted, etc. If there is a problem, then Zapier automatically emails the customer with details.

It was a long journey to get where we are now, but now that everything has been set up and debugged, it has been working pretty much flawlessly.
