  • Delivery Estimate Module

    Anyone else tried to use Delivery Estimate? It's not working in our store ( core template ). Opened ticket back in October with no resolution so far.

    kalaja I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the Delivery Estimate. Do you happen to have that ticket id? I can see whats going on and get a status for you.

      You probably have a custom theme, so you'll need to add the new code. I got it to work, but overrides the availability text such as how many we have in stock. I shut it off for now until that gets fixed. (Have not submitted a ticket yet)

      In listing_0.html you should have something like: <input type="hidden" id="availability" value="[availability]" />

      You can add what I have in red and it should work for any "In Stock" item.

      <input type="hidden" id="availability_itemprop" value="[availability]" />

          Thanks JoeBTI . There is weird behavior with module. When you insert zip code first time script will correctly show next day delivery ( by default it's showing only fastest shipping option available ) , however if you keep browsing and open new product page estimated delivery will jump 2 weeks for overnight delivery... same thing happen if you just refresh same item page, delivery date change.

            You must have had the same TAM as we did. He is gone, with no replacement.

              Pack Secure do you think something going on? Our tickets have been slow to resolve, delayed response, etc... considering all noise about enterprise level with personal account manger I didn't see much improvements since switching to enterprise plan except for really great features ( modules ) included with it..

                    Hey Guys,

                    We did have a TAM leave the company this week to pursue options closer to home. A New Tam has been assigned and they are reaching out to each merchant this week. If you have not heard from your new TAM please email the TAM supervisor David Land @ [email protected] He will be more than happy to help you out with any issue you have.

                      This module is completely useless. Only shows estimated delivery date for next day air shipping.

                        The plugin will show the fastest the customer can get the item, like other popular sites show....so if you have air available, then yes, more than likely air will be the fastest to the user....now, are you saying it doesn't work at all if you don't offer air?

                          It worked as you described, but none of your merchants are Amazon who can ship at Amazon's shipping rates...When the customer calculates shipping charges, do you honestly think majority are gonna choose that fastest shipping option that was shown? I highly doubt it.

                          Listing the estimated delivery dates for all shipping methods would be much more beneficial.

                            JoeBTI , GonzaloGil Level 2 support fixed issue with module, however I lost stock availability despite updating listing file per JoeBTI advice. You can see in video stock availability visible for second or two until delivery estimate script kick in and hide it... can this issue be resolved? I closed ticket before realizing error.

                              That is how they designed it. If its "In Stock" then this feature loads into the availability section.

                              Another issue is the delivery estimate still appears if a customer blocks the browser from using their location. Nothing happens when they click it after blocking... Will definitely cause a lot of confusion for customers
