  • Background

    I've been playing around with my background for my site and I got this nice image I'd like to use, but I got a problem I don't know the answer to.

    How do I code it so the image will adjust to the different sizes of screen resolutions??

    Any ideas??

    Your background is nice, but, like you've stated, it "tiles" for me with my widescreen laptop. I suppose there is a trick to make it NOT tile and jsut expand the whole horizontal....

      Golden, did you ever figure this out? I am using an image for my background that looks perfectly centered on my laptop, but on different screen sizes and resolutions, the image will be offset to the left or right, depending on browser, screen size and res. How do I make it consistent across different platforms?
      My CSS below:

      background-image: url(http://macdimms.3dcartstores.com/ass.../bgimage.png);
      background-position: 50% 1.35%;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;

      Bryon :confused:
