  • Multiple columns in feed index

    I am setting up a "nutrition encyclopedia" for our online store using the extra page feature on Settings > Design > Site Content. I will be using the database feed feature. The database feeds are based on feed_page_x.html where x can be the installed feed pages 0, 1, or 2, or you can modify and create your own feed page 3, 4, etc.

    Rather than have a long single column system generated index at the top, I would like to create the index in three columns. Does anyone know how to code this in html, given that fact that the table will be dynamically generated?

    The relevant code in feed_page_2.html is

    <td><!--START: feeds_index-->
    <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
    <!--START: feeds_index_link-->
    <tr>
    <td><a href="#[id]">[feed_title]</a></td>
    </tr>
    <!--END: feeds_index_link-->
    </table>
    <!--END: feeds_index-->

    And, of course, this is populated with a new <td> for each item in the database. So it becomes a single column table. Does anyone know how I can make this generate a three column table? The table will have around 100 single word or two-word feed titles, so I really don't want one long single column.

    Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)
