  • Problems making changes

I just signed up very recently and am trying to make some changes to the template.

I can't get the top menu text to change colour or font. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I also can't figure out how to change the add to cart button colours. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The Style Sheet will provide for most of the changes of this type. Go to Settings > Design > Themes & Styles. There you'll find Edit Look/Colors (CSS) button. Click on it to go to the Style Sheet Editor. Now, select the applicable Style Name based on its Description and make changes accordingly (i.e. "btn" and "btn_over" with regard to the button colors).

    Hope that helps.

Hi there, Thanks for your reply.

That's what I've been doing, but not having much luck.

I've even managed to download some images, change the colour and re-upload them.

I've been trying to change the font/colour on the main top menu through A. menu and nothing happens. I can't find anything else that fits the description of the top menu bar. A. menu over has nothing there to change, so I'm confused.

I'll see if I can figure out the buttons.

I really like 3dcart, but find design mode and templates to be very limited, unless you know html etc. I see the great looking sites, but realize they are probably done with the help of a pro or someone who knows how to do coding.

Is there a simple way to add an image onto the home page above the featured products?

In the admin panel, go to Settings>Design>Titles & Content>Home Page. I use the WYSIWIG mode to manipulate images on the homepage.

        Hope that helps!
