I added Verisign and Truste logos to the footer of my site, and I was able to get them to line up on the same line. But, now they are spaced too wide on the home page. Does anyone know how I can get the logos to center on the page? Is this an HTML or CSS coding issue?

    Thanks

    Brian

You can use a <td align="right"> and <td align="left"> for the corresponding cells. If that makes them too close together then add a third cell in between them with a spacer<td><img src="/assets/images/spacer.gif" height="1" width="10" alt=""></td> (I think the spacer image is there).

      Brian,
Did you add these in the actual template or in the global headers section? I ask because looking at your site in FireFox, it appears that this was done in the actual template as a table. The topic of your post is "Editing Tables". But, I could be wrong!

The best and easiest way, in my opinion, is to add these in the Global Footer section:
Settings/Design/Header & Footer then scroll down to Global Footer. You can insert "hard code" or use the WYSIWYG option to insert images from your file manager and they should line up fairly even. And if some tweaking is needed, this can be done in this area rather easily.

        Centering Logos

I added the logos using the Header and Footer, but I've been just inserting code. I tried adding the <td align="left"> and <td align="right"> code, but it shifted both logos to the far right of the page. I now have them centered, but one on top of the other. Any suggestions how I fix this so the logos are centered next to each other?

        Thanks

        Brian

Try inserting the images using the WYSIWYG option in the Global Footer section. It should come out the way you want it.

I was able to solve the problem. I added a <table>, then added <tr> and <td> code for each logo, and they all lined up on the same row. I don't know if this was the proper way to do it, but it worked. I'm still learning HTML, so it's a work in progress for me. My next project is to add some space between the logos and get them to align vertically.

Thanks for everyone's help on this.
