  • New 3DCart site to check out!

We just got the site to the point where i'm happy to show it off...

Let me know what you think! We have the 3DROI running beautifully, as well as the live-help monitor.

So far i'm thrilled with this cart. Its a bit of a leanring curve to figure out the design, but once you figure out how to mess with the html, then its downhill from there :)

Let me know what you think!

    Congrats and very nice

    Hey Panducky,

Very nice site!! Looks great! Yes, I completely agree with you about it being a bit of a learning curve with the design, but once you learn it - the
    3DCart system is awesome!

I'm right in the middle of designing/migrating my site and am hoping to be done by the end of this week. I have had numerous AHA moments over the past couple of weeks after working on my new design. But so far, I LOVE using 3DCart. I'll be sure to post here as well once I'm all done with the site.

By the way - it's great to hear from another Central Floridian - we're located just a few miles west of Orlando.

Nice! I just moved from Orlando over here to Melbourne...

Do you have a link to your site?

I really wish theire was more documentation, but i guess they are pushing to have more people have 3dcart do the design work, rather than making it really easy for everyone else to use the system... either that, or they simply have not figured that it was all that important, and if you are confident enough to modify the pages, then you should know your way around html/asp/css...

Either way, the site is now running great, and looking the way i want it to look. I'm glad that i decided to do the design myself, because now i know soooo much more about the cart and how the design influences the various pages.

        I agree

Yeah, I found myself also wishing that there was more documentation for people like us who want to do their own design. But I will say that one thing that did help me was the template reference guide that Gonzalo emailed to me. He said that it wasn't totally complete - but could help.

Just in case you haven't seen it, the link is:
        http://www.3dcart.com/guide/

It was a bit challenging to analyze the code of the included templates and then try to integrate that within my own custom design. But after figuring it out I really like how flexible it is. It's also great having FTP access.

My existing site with MonsterCommerce is http://www.scribetime.com

My new site (which is still a major work in progress) is https://scribetime.3dcartstores.com

I'm hoping to be done by the end of this weekend. But I still have such a long way to go.

I agree with you - I'm glad I did the design myself as well. I've learned more and am glad that when it comes time to make updates or changes - I'll be able to do it myself. So far I'm thrilled with all that 3dcart allows you to do. Now if I can just finish this design and open this store...
