  • Has anyone used Visual Slideshow with 3Dcart yet?

    I am using a program called visual slideshow. It can downloaded and used for free at www.visual-slideshow.com , you must pay for commercial use, i think it's like $50 for an individual license, anyways that info just for anyone else who wants to use it or play around with it.

    So I have created my slideshow and now it gives me four different options to publish ... to a local folder, to an html page, to a joomla module, of to an ftp server. I have tried all methods and I am at a complete loss here. Is there any out there who has tried this yet or who can tell me which method would be easiest and how to do it? Where would I place the images for the slideshow? This could be beneficial to many people out there I know have also tried to add a slideshow. I'm a newbie to this stuff, but I seem to have been able to sort through most of my challenges so far.

    Use the method for HTML file, on Part 7 of their instructions, it shows you where to place the code:
    Code:

                          <head>
                               ...
                                            <!-- Start Visual SlideShow.com HEAD section -->
                                                                       .....
                                            <!-- End Visual SlideShow.com HEAD section -->
                           ... </head>
                           <body>
                            ...
                                    <!-- Start Visual SlideShow.com BODY section -->
                                                              .....
                                    <!-- End Visual SlideShow.com BODY section -->
                           ...</body>
    The header portion goes in the frame.html, the body portion goes where you want to place the slideshow, i.e. home.html

      Yes I read those steps in the instructions as well, but that does not clarify where in the frame.html the header section should be placed.
      This was the only instruction they gave, so am I to believe that it is the only step required, should I not be uploading image files somewhere.
      The only thing you did was recite to me the vague directions I already had. Maybe this is clear to you, but I am a newbie and nothing is assumed.

        Slideshow installment

        The page that i am placing the slideshow on is below the heading on this page Home where the image sits now.

          I have to assume that any one attempting to manipulate code knows basic HTML and basic architecture of a web page. If not it is wise to hire someone who knows.

          As for placing the code (at the risk of "reciting" again):
          The first portion of the code goes in the "header" i.e. anywhere between <head>..... </head>

          Second portion where your current image is.
          search for <img src="assets/images/Blue%20Door%20Tornado%20%282%29.jpg" alt="" border="0px"> and replace with the slider code.
