  • Price font size

    Hi -
    is it possible to change the size of the font for the price on the product page?

    thanks

    .price is where you would need to change the font size/color in your default-modified.css file. Or go Settings-->Design-->Themes & Styles. Click on (Edit Look/Colors/Css) scroll down to find price, and modify the font size/color there.

      Hi -
      Thank you for your help. I did exactly what you said and this does not change it.
      This is what I changed it to, but it still looks the same old way on the website:
      /*price:: Controls the way the product's final price display throughout the site.*/
      .price {

      font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
      font-size: 16px;
      color: #32cd32;
      font-weight: bold;
      letter-spacing: 1px;

        If you post a link to one of your pages I can look at it. Chrome and Firefox have tools where you can right-click on part of the page and see what CSS styles are effecting it, and see what changes would do in real-time.

          My client asked for larger prices in his listings. I tried the CSS and such. Ultimately they all changed the price font but it also changed in the category listing. Below is how I overcame it.

          This is for listing style 2. It would of course change depending on which product page template you are using.

          Code:
           <!--START: pricing-->
                    <tr>
                      <td><img src="assets/templates/common/images/spacer.gif" alt="" width="1" height="10" border="0"></td>
                    </tr>
                    <tr>
                      <td class="price-info" valign="top" align="left" colspan="2"><table width="200" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                          <!--START: price2-->
                          <tr>
                            <td align="left" class="price-info" colspan="2"><strong>[product_retailprice]</strong> [price2]</td>
                          </tr>
                          <!--START: SAVINGS-->
                          <tr>
                            <td align="left" class="price-info" colspan="2"><strong>[product_savings]</strong> [savings]</td>
                          </tr>
                          <!--END: SAVINGS-->
                          <!--END: price2-->
                          <tr>
                            <td align="left" class="price-info" valign="top" style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Price:</strong>
                              <!--START: ITEMPRICE-->
                              <div id="price" style="display:inline; font-size:24px;" class="price" valign="center">[price]</div>
                              <!--END: ITEMPRICE-->
                              <!--START: SALEPRICE-->
                              <s>[price]</s><br>
                              <strong class="price" style="font-size:24px;">[product_onsale]:</strong>
                              <div id="price" style="display:inline; font-size:24px;" class="price">[saleprice]</div>
                              <!--END: SALEPRICE-->
                          </tr>
                        </table></td>
                    </tr>
                    <!--END: pricing-->
